Hi, my name is Teale! I am a certified and licensed massage therapist with a passion to soothe and heal others. I grew up in a small mountain community in Conifer, Colorado. My love of travel sent me all over after graduating high school including college at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where I studied psychology. I continued my degree in the South West of Colorado in a town called Durango, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. Many of my travels landed me in the West Coast, with an abundant amount of time in Oregon. During this time I was able to become clear and focus on my desires to heal, realizing the innate power that touch offers as medicine. As a young child I was taught by my grandmother the importance of healing through Touch and Meditation. Pursuing the desire to become a healer I began my studies at the Lotus Institute of Massage in Glenwood Springs, also where my grandmother was living, a fitting match.
Since then, I have continued my education including Intensive Training with Cupping, Pre/Post Natal Massage, Geriatric, Pediatric, and Reiki. I'm working on learning Bioenergy healing and Assisted Stretching to add to my tool belt. I have found a deep passion for what I do that deepens as I grow in continued education and connection. Intent focus on each of my clients specific and individual needs both physically and energetically, is the forefront of my practice. I am very intuitive with in my massages and I can feel where your body needs some touch. I hope to bring healing into this world one massage at a time!

Reiki
Reiki is an ancient Healing technique that originates from Japan and traveled to Hawaii where it became practiced in the United states. It is simple and direct with soft to little to no touch. Reiki is love and healing. It helps activate the natural healing processes of the clients body and helps restore the physical and emotional well being.
Hot stone
A hot stone massage feels very grounding and melts away the tension. I use smooth, water heated stones to glide over your body, while also setting stones in key points on the body so you can fall deep into relaxation. The heat from the stones allows the muscles to really relax so that I can work more efficient in the deeper muscles of the body. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. This is one of my favorite massages to give and to receive.
Swedish and Deep Tissue
This massage will relax your entire body by long gliding strokes in the direction of your blood returning to the heart. This type of massage is also very beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, and improving circulation and flexibility while also easing tension.Along with some Swedish techniques, deep tissue massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It's used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.
Pre-natal Massage
Prenatal massage is very similar to regular massage but the techniques are customized for the needs of a pregnant women. I have been trained and want to make you as comfortable as possible. I have pregnancy pillows where you lay on your stomach or we can also do side lying.
Cupping
Cupping is the oldest and most globally practiced medical treatment in human history. It pulls stagnation out of tissues and brings it to the skin level. The pores expand discharging some of the wastes, the rest is then more accessible to the body's circulatory and lymphatic systems where it can be properly flushed out. Also, cupping brings fresh, revitalized blood to stagnant areas. This is a great treatment for deeper work in the muscle and tissue. I find my clients get almost instant relief after a treatment.
